On May 1st ” X-Men Origins: Wolverine” will debut in theatres. The film’s immenent release is very exciting and it should receive a handful of cash on opening weekend. However, someone working on the film let a full length work print of it slip out of their hands and into the world of bit torrent websites enabling thousands to see the film more than a month before its release. Though this is obviously a horrible hiccup for the filmmakers it isn’t the first time this has happened. This particular occasion has now caught even more measurable coverage as Fox News columnist Roger Friedman wrote a review of the pirated version. Fox News said Monday that the company’s representatives and Friedman “mutually agreed to part ways immediately.” Naturally 
Isn’t it interesting the possibilities technology provides us with? At least the people at 20th Century Fox can be assured that people are giddy to see Hugh Jackman extend his claws into the hearts of the public. In a good way.
“Canned” Gets Some Love
March 25th, 2009Canned, directed by Regent Cinema-Television student Joseph Rohrs, is one of about 30 films that will be screened at the upcoming ONFilm Festival, held March 25-28 at Old Dominion University and various Norfolk venues.
This honor received press in this Virginian-Pilot article, which talks about how the film’s script mirrors today’s economic reality.

For 4 years, ReelGood.TV has serviced the web with student films and productions from Regent University students. On this day, March 12, 2009, ReelGood is dedicating its brand-spanking new blog to anyone who might happen to stumble upon it.
The contents of this blog are going to be diversified and will encompass filmmaking, television production, digital media, and well, anything that we feel like. Various staff members will contribute on a regular basis. Basically, our goal is to stimulate some interesting discussion on life and media arts. It’s going to be a blast; we hope you enjoy.
